360U will lead our hitting instruction again for the 2025-2026 season. Each team will be assigned a 60 minute time slot during a weeknight. If an athlete is unable to attend due to a second sport or another commitment, we will move them to train with another team.
In March, Pirate Fastpitch coaches will take over the weekly hitting instruction until they can move outside for practice.
Teams practice at Bay View Middle School on Sundays. 8U, 10U & 12U will practice together as a division.
Pitching instruction will be available in multiple formats for the 2026-2027 season. More information to come soon!
Catchers will meet weekly December-February to learn the fundamentals of catching, blocking, setting up pitches and more.
Teams will practice outside twice a week once the villages of Howard and Suamico open the parks. Due to weather, this varies year by year. Each team will be assigned times on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Once league starts, teams will practice on Monday evenings, with optional times allowed for Sundays.
8U Navy will participate in the HSYSA rec league. They will play games on Mondays and Wednesdays.
8U Blue and 8U White will play in the Green Bay Area Tournament Team League. This is a kid pitch league on Wednesday nights.
10U and 12U will play in the Green Bay Area Tournament Team League on Wednesday nights.
High School Teams will play in a league to be determined.
Each team, 8U Blue and older, will play in a minimum of 5 tournaments. Coaches are given a budget and guidelines to choose tournaments appropriate for their team’s ability. The 5 tournaments could take place in the fall, winter, spring or summer. Families may be given the option to self-fund additional tournaments at the coach’s discretion. 8U Navy will play in Battle at the Bay and 1 additional tournament.
Pirate Fastpitch is entirely run by volunteers! Our Board of Directors is made up of parents and the Bay Port Varsity Coaches. A large number of our coaching staff are also parent volunteers. We could not keep this organization growing without the help of our parents.
We are always looking for more help! If you have softball coaching experience, are great at fundraising, do well managing large projects or just want to find a way to get involved, please reach out to our Board Secretary.
Pirate Fastpitch hosts an annual fundraiser in February. We ask each family to sell 25 tickets.
Battle at the Bay is our home tournament which takes place Father’s Day weekend. We ask each family to volunteer 6 hours at the tournament.
Pirate Fastpitch hosts the State Tournament in July each year. Not all teams will participate, but we do need all hands on deck to make the tournament run smoothly. Regardless of your athlete’s participation, we ask each family to volunteer 6 hours at the tournament.
